Fees & Rebates

FEES

Each year, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) provides a National Schedule of Recommended Fees, which Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists use as a guide. Each Psychologist determines their fees based on their level of experience and training. Serenity Holistic has a standard rate for Clinical Psychology services based on the recommendations set out in the National Fee Schedule. For exact fees call the clinic to discuss. There are also a number of rebates available for those eligible. NDIS funded clients are accepted.

REBATES

Medicare Rebates and Private Health Rebates are available. Medicare Rebates can be accessed with an up-to-date Mental Health Care Plan for online and in-person Holistic Counselling sessions. The number of rebated sessions available are 10 rebated sessions in a calendar year. Contact Medicare or your GP for further information. Mental Health Care Plans are valid for a two-year period. If you change therapists you simply update your mental health care plan with your GP, notifying them of your current therapist’s name and contact details. Private Health Rebates may be available dependent on your health fund and plan. Contact your Health Insurance provider to find out whether you are eligible to receive a rebate for psychological services.

Serenity Holistic offers reduced fees to clients who have a Centrelink Health Care Card or Centrelink Pension Card. For more information about the cost of our Clinical Psychology services please reach out via our contact page and we will make an appointment to talk to you about the details.
